The MIA|New Cinema Network Selection Committee is at work to single out the projects showcased in October in Rome.
The Members appointed for the 2015 Selection Committee are Matthew Baker from HanWay Films (the UK-based production company behind the films of Woody Allen, Takeshi Kitano, Bernardo Bertolucci, Wim Wenders among others, and co-producer of Matteo Garrone’s Tale of Tales), Iole Maria Giannattasio, coordinator of the research unit of Directorate-General for Cinema within the Italian Ministry of Culture and Italian member of the Eurimages Board, and Anne Lai and Paul Federbush from the prestigious Sundance Institute, long-term partner of NCN. They will select about 30 projects for co-production among the two hundred applications circa submitted from all over the world.
