Vodafone TV, a service offered by Vodafone Italia which gathers traditional, on demand, and internet TV programs, has added new contents thanks to ten new agreements signed with Sony Pictures Television, 20th Century Fox, Lionsgate, BBC Worldwide, National Geographic, Discovery Italia, Discovery Communication, De Agostini Editore, Viacom International Media Networks and NOW TV (Sky Italia).
The latter concerns additional NOW TV packages, mainly sport, cinema and TV series, among which are the fifth season of House of Cards (to be screened soon), Gomorra and The Young Pope.
By offering this service Vodafone aims at strengthening its position on the market vis-à-vis its direct competitor Tim Vision. Besides the above mentioned agreements, Vodafone TV makes available Netflix and CHILI official Apps, in addition to NOW TV.
