TV ratings results for NOVE have been impressive this past month. The primetime increases of 77% compared with the same period last year. It reaches a 1,8 share and the eighth position among the national channels, right after the seven generalist ones. The average share is excellent as well (1,4 and +44% compared with the previous year). Programmes such as Fratelli di Crozza are driving forces for this feat: the one-man show of the Ligurian comedian who was torn from La7 has ended this season with an average of 1,2 million viewers and a 4,5 share. An impressive rating for the second season of the Italian edition of Kitchen Nightmares with chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo reporting an average of 631.000 viewers and a 2,5 share (20% more than the first season). The access prime time brought great pleasure as well thanks to Boom! with Max Giusti (an average of 508.000 viewers and a 2 share).
Ratings are rising for Real Time too: the month of May has ended with a 1,4 share (5% more than May 2016). The performances are increasing if we consider its own privileged target (15-54 women) with which the channel reaches a 3 share and becomes the seventh national specific target channel. Good news for Eurosport too, thanks to the Tour of Italy and the initial phase of the Roland Garros tennis tournament: +6% for Eurosport 1, a channel relying on other sport events in the following months (tennis, motors, cycling, athletics and swimming).
