The President of AGIS, Carlo Fontana, manifested great satisfaction about the meeting with the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Alberto Bonisoli.
On Wednesday July 4th a meeting took place between the delegation of AGIS – the Italian General Association of Entertainment – and the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Alberto Bonisoli. The meeting was also attended by the presidents of FEDERVIVO (Italian General Association for Live Shows), Filippo Fonsatti, ANFOLS (National Association of Lyrical-Symphonic Foundations), Cristiano Chiarot, and ANEC (National Association of Cinema Operators), Mario Lorini.
Among the issues raised by AGIS to the attention of the Minister, the need for an integration of resources on the Single Fund for Entertainment (‘Fondo Unico per lo Spettacolo’, FUS) and the urgency to implement the Entertainment Law delegation (‘delega della Legge sullo spettacolo’), approved in November 2017. AGIS has also highlighted the need for a more careful assessment of those working in the cultural sector in legislative production.
“The Minister Bonisoli listened very carefully to the issues raised by the Association” – those were the words of President Carlo Fontana, reported on agisweb.it -. “Ensuring, from the beginning, a concrete commitment to find resources to complement the FUS, a commitment he defined as a priority for this term of office”.
