The line-up of Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (June 28 – July 6, 2019) includes some Italian films such as The Champion by Leonardo D’Agostini and Ovunque Proteggimi by Bonifacio Angius respectively presented at What’s Next Italy of MIA 2018 and MIA 2017.
The Grand Jury of Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, now at its 54th edition, counts: Stephen Hulík, Annemarie Jacir, Sergei Loznitsa, Angeliki Papoulia, Charles Tesson. As international guests, Julianne Moore and Bart Freundlinch will partecipate to the Festival. The Champion by Leonardo D’Agostini, starring Stefano Accorsi and Andrea Carpenzano, will be at Karlovy Vary Festival in the Horizons section, together with Ovunque Proteggimi by Bonifacio Angius. Here are the other Italian films which will partecipate at the Festival: Che fare quando il mondo è in fiamme by Roberto Minervini; Dafne by Federico Bondi, Giù dal vivo by Nazareno Manuel Nicoletti, Tommaso by Abel Ferrara, The Traitor by Marco Bellocchio, Tutto l’oro che c’è by Andrea Caccia.
