A new giant of the international audiovisual industry is born after Banijay Group acquires Endemol Shine. The operation has been completed in a year.
Banijay Group acquired the production company owned by the Walt Disney Company (after the acquisition of 21st Century Fox) and Apollo Global Management. This way, Endemol Shine adds 66 thousand hours of scripted and unscripted content and more than 4,3 thousand registered formats, with titles such as Black Mirror, Big Brother and Masterchef. With this operation Banijay Group becomes a true behemoth with more than 200 production societies present in 23 countries, accumulating more than 100 thousand hours of content.
