Italians Doc it Better is one of the most eagerly anticipated events at MIA.
It is a showcase about Italian documentaries completed in the last year that have not yet been released internationally.
Producers selected to take part, have 5 minutes in total to present their documentary and screen a trailer to an audience of international buyers, commissioning editors and press.
The MIA DOC team, lead by Marco Spagnoli, is responsible for the selection of documentaries featured in Italians Doc it Better.
Italians Doc it Better is now in its third edition and has become the biggest opportunity for Italian producers to showcase their completed documentaries that are ready for distribution.
Our goal is to internationalize Italian documentaries and to provide opportunities for them to be released abroad in theaters, on linear broadcasters or on digital platforms.
