Creative Europe, the EU’s programme that supports the European cultural and creative sector, has published “Bridging culture and audiovisual content through digital” call for proposals. The total budget is estimated at 1.75 million euros and the deadline for submitting applications is June 20th.
This action will support projects featuring new forms of creation at the cross roads between different cultural and creative sectors, including the audiovisual sector, and through the use of innovative technologies, including virtual reality. It will also foster innovative cross-sectoral approaches and tools to facilitate access, distribution, promotion and monetisation of culture and creativity.
The total budget for the co-financing of projects under this call for proposals is estimated at 1.75 million euros. The minimum contribution requested per project will be 150.000 euros, representing maximum 60% of the project’s total cost.
Consortia composed of at least 3 legal entities coming from 3 different countries which participate in the Creative Europe Programme and which present a diverse range of expertise across several cultural and creative sectors, including audiovisual, are eligible for the application.
It is possible to request a financial contribution for projects which include an audiovisual and new digital technology aspect to be implemented in at least one of the following areas: museums, live performance and/or cultural heritage.
