The film Cryptozoo, Dash Shaw’s second animated work, has been selected among the films of the section “NEXT” of the Sundance Film Festival 2021.
The festival has finally unveiled its line-up for the 2021 edition, which will take place from January 28 to February 3 in a hybrid form.
More than 70 films have been chosen for the next edition and, among these, Cryptozoo, a film homage to Winsor McCay – father of fantastic animation of the early 1900s – produced by Kyle Martin for Electric Chinoland, Jane Samborski, Bill Way, Tyler Davidson.
Cryptozoo was presented as The Cryptozoo Debut at the MIA Film Co-Production Market in 2017.
