Presented at What’s Next Cinema di Mia 2017, Daughter of Mine (Figlia Mia) by Laura Bispuri has been awarded at the Shanghai International Film Festival as Best Film.
China applauds Daughter of Mine by Laura Bispuri, with Alba Rohrwacher and Valeria Golino. The film has won “The Media Choice Award for The Best Film” at The Belt and Road Film Week, a new competing section of the Shanghai International Film Festival. Produced by Vivo Film and Colorado Film with Rai Cinema, Daughter of Mine is distributed in Italy by 01 Distribution.
Highly acclaimed by the critics at the Berlinale, Laura Bispuri’s Daughter of Mine achieved an important milestone for Italian cinema. At the same time, a co-production forum between Italy and China, organized by ANICA, is being held at the Shanghai International Film Festival. Among the Italian representatives, there is Roberto Stabile (ANICA International Development Manager), Paolo Del Brocco (CEO of Rai Cinema) and the producer Marco Belardi. It is a Forum dedicated to the promotion of Italian cinema and the development of potential partnerships between Italy and China.
