Dawn by Laila Pakalnina, presented as a project in New Cinema Network in 2013, won the Jury Prize for Best Cinematographer (Wojciech Staron) at Tallinn’s Black Nights Film Festival.
An absurd, tragicomic tale beautifully composed in black-and-white, Dawn is a Latvian-Estonian-Polish co-production.
