The Board of Management of the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund has chosen thirty projects (22 fiction, 7 documentaries and one animation film) which will receive a financial support for a total amount of 5.598.535 euros.
Among the selected projects, there are also three films presented during the two previous editions of MIA Market: they are Sisters (Turkey, Germany, Netherlands, Greece) by Emin Alper (portrayed in the picture above), winner in 2016 of the Eurimages Award, Digger (Greece, France) by Georgis Grigorakis and What a Country (Croatia, Serbia, Poland) by Vinko Bresan. One of the feature film presented during A Suivre, a special session dedicated to France at its first edition during MIA 2017, has salso received the funding: it’s Negative Numbers (Uarkofiti Ricxvebi) by Uta Béria.
