Finale Plzeň the most important Czech film Festival this year has also scheduled some films that have participated in MIA|Cinema Co-Production Market.
The 31st edition of Finále Plzeň, the most celebrated Czech Film Festival, kicks off from 19th to 24tn April 2018 in the city of Plzeň. A dense program that collects several previews, together with some archival films to celebrate the centenary of the foundation of the Czechoslovak Republic. The Golden Kingfisher includes 12 titles that will compete in 5 different categories: feature live action and animated films, documentaries, non-serial TV and internet production, serial TV and internet production and student films of up to 40 minutes.
Among the films presented at the Finale Plzeň there will also be titles that have participated in the past editions of the MIA|Cinema Co-Production Market. Among these The Line by Peter Bebjak, produced by Wandal Production, but also OUT by György Krist, Sentimentalfilm production. At the Festival also a co-production between the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Italy; it is a film by Václav Kadrnka Little Crusader (co-produced by: ARTILERIA, Česká televize, innogy, Barrandov Studio, I / o post, Tempesta Film).
