Players of the British audiovisual industry BBC Studios, Itv Studios and Fremantle will organize virtual events to meet their interlocutors.
Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, the major players in the audiovisual market had managed to find an alternative solution through digital offers.
In particular, ITV has already announced the launch of the Fall Festival, a virtual event scheduled for September 14 that follows what has already been done in the previous months, the Spring Drama and the Format Festival.
As for Fremantle, however, it is discussing with Reed Midem – organizer of MipCom (12-15 October 2020) – to be present at MipCom Online+, the digital event intended for those who cannot physically be present in the french market. According to TBI Vision and C21, in fact, BBC Studios, Fremantle and the American operator A+E Networks may not participate in the physical market with dedicated stands pavilions, but only in virtual form.
