Extended the call for the development of co-production projects between Italy and Portugal.
Starting from September 27, 2021, it is possible to submit the application to access the €160,000 fund allocated in synergy by the General Directorate for Cinema and Audiovisual and the Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual for Italian and Portuguese producers who have a project under development.
In order to apply, the co-production must involve at least one Italian and one Portuguese producer who must contribute at least 20% of the development cost. Furthermore, concerning the contribution granted by DG Cinema, it is necessary to have legal headquarters in the European Economic Area, tax residence in Italy and to be qualified as an independent producer.
Feature films intended for the big screen are eligible for the call, except for those for which provisional Italian nationality has already been requested and for which filming has begun. The new deadline for the call for proposals is November 30, 2021.
