In the same year of the partnership between Docs Barcelona and Mia Doc (the Mia Market division that deals with documentaries and factual) two Italian films were awarded by the Festival directed by Diego Mas Trelles.
These are Valentina Pedicini’s Faith, which won the Best Documentary Award and Michele Manzolini and Federico Ferrone’s Il Varco, winner of the What The Doc! Award.
The latter was presented in the Italians Doc it Better 2019 section and has been selected for its première at Docs.
