LA7 2018-2019 Programming: Urbano Cairo unveils all the details on the Italian channel programming for next season.
During the presentation of the channel LA7 programming for the next season, Urbano Cairo, president of Cairo Communication, announced that he wanted to reconfirm the main faces of the TV station.
After a record-breaking TV season, LA7 reached, between November 2017 and June 2018, the highest revenues on the television scene: with 4.32% shares in the daily total (+ 19%) and 5.49% in prime time (+32%). LA7 thus reached the highest audience records since the network was established in 2001.
Hence, the winning team shall not be modified. Cairo has reconfirmed Massimo Giletti for next season and Giovanni Floris until 2024. Among the other well-known faces from the news side, coming back on September, Enrico Mentana will be on LA7 with TG LA7, Lilli Gruber with the program 8½, Corrado Formigli with Piazza Pulita, which has been confirmed to be aired every Thursday, Andrea Purgatori with Atlantis on Wednesdays and Diego Bianchi, aka ‘Zoro’, on Fridays. Cairo has also foreshadowed the possible arrival in the autumn of Milena Gabanelli and Corrado Guzzanti.
