Lucisano Media Group has acquired distribution rights for five films at the Marché du Film of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival: Georgetown, the directional debut of Oscar-winning actor Christoph Waltz, starring in his movie with Vanessa Redgrave;Gabriela Cowperthwaite’sMegan Leavey, featuring Kate Mara; Peter Hutchings’s Departures, starring the three young stars Asa Butterfield (Hugo, The Space Between Us), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) and Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries); Ailo’s Journey, a documentary directed by Guillaume Maidatchevsky; Escape Plan 3, sequel to Escape Plan, by Steven C. Miller, featuring Sylvester Stallone.
Along with the titles purchased at the Berlin Film Festival, Lucisano Media Group “confirms his interest in the international market” CEO Federica Lucisano has stated. “We are pleased with the acquired works which enhance and diversify our offering”.
