An historic step forward in the U.S. for Mediaset Italia. Starting today, the Italian broadcasted will be distributed in the USA also by DirecTV, the AT&T’s satellite platform, a leader in the U.S. with more than twenty-one million subscribers. The best of Mediaset programming will be offered on one channel to maintain a strong connection between Italians living abroad and their country of origin. The potential catchment area amounts to seventeen million Italian-Americans residing permanently there, with an offer ranging from big live sports events to the main news reports of Tg5, the insights of Mediaset networks’ newspapers, the best movies, the most recent series and primetime entertainment such as Striscia la Notizia and C’è Posta per Te.
