Pokémon Detective Pikachu enters the box office and conquers the audience with €2.394.696. Avengers: Endgame holds the second place, gaining €1.353.824 and thus bringing the total revenue to €28.302.803. The new entry Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, a biopic on the life of serial killer Ted Bundy starring Zac Efron, achieves third place with €591.189.
Another new entry is found at the fourth place. The horror movie Pet Sematary, based on a Stephen King novel, gains €564.047. The biopic Stan and Ollie, based on the life of the two famous comedians, falls at fifth place with €451.198, which brings total revenue from May 1st to €1.711.851. The Italian Ma cosa ci dice il cervello holds the sixth place with €246.171 (€4.800.207 since it first came out four weeks ago).
Seventh place for the new entry Red Joan, an espionage movie starring Judi Dench, which gains €238.856. The new Sergio Rubini movie, Il Grande Spirito, enters the box office at the eighth position with €167.391. The drama Hotel Mumbai falls at ninth place gaining €165.013 during its fourth week in Italian cinemas (€840.580 since April 30th). Finally, the new movie by Jia Zhange Ash is Purest White obtains €80.746 during its first week-end in Italian cinemas.
