Men in Black: International, on its second week in theaters, has conquered the first place getting past Spider-Man: Far From Home, that now comes second. The new entry Hotel Artemis is in third place. Discover all this weekend’s rankings from August 1-4 2019.
On its second weekend in theaters, Men in Black: International, by F. Gary Gray with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, climbs to the first position of the standings with € 427.712 (€1.857.977 total), leaving Spider-Man: Far From Home behind, that now stands second with € 368.810 (€ 10.762.952 in four weeks). In the third place, the new film by Drew Pearce, Hotel Artemis, earned € 243.234 on its debut. Serenity resists in the fourth position with a revenue of € 125.034 (€ 1.133.549 in total for six weeks). Toy Story 4 stands fifth, that, after six weeks of screenings, earned € 113.793 this weekend and € 5.764.297 in total. On its debut, Isabelle achieved the sixth position having earned € 112.408 in four days.
Number 7 is for the new entry Dolcissime, by Francesco Ghiaccio with Valeria Solarino and Vinicio Marchioni, earning € 79.538. Two weeks since its release, Midsommar is in the eighth place with € 70.294 (€ 383.382 total). The Current War finds itself in place number nine with revenues of € 61.919 (€ 909.199 in three weeks). Closing the top-ten is the latest film by Stephen Merchant, Fighting with My Family, which takes home € 48.586 in four days.
Also, this weekend brought in several new titles, but none of them is able to overcome the incredible success of Men in Black: International and Spider-Man: Far from Home, with much higher earnings.
