With € 3,336,162, live-action Dumbo by Tim Burton at its debut is the first in the Italian box office, while Five Feet Apart earns € 1,060,107 (total: € 2,792,591), landing in second position. The Italian comedy Bentornato Presidente starring Claudio Bisio, sequel to the 2013 movie Benvenuto Presidente, in the first weekend gets € 635.228.
Captain Marvel collects € 338,521 for a total of € 9,678,391 and it’s in fourth position while The Professor and the Madman, reaching € 288,773 and € 817,272 from its release is fifth, followed by the new entry The Prodigy, a horror film by Nicholas McCarthy that reaches € 260,315. Seventh place for Scappo a casa with € 214.137 and € 983.474 of total earnings.
The drama On the Basis of Sex debuts at the box office in eighth place with € 195,283 followed by Peppermint with € 177.912 and € 767.843 in its second week. The last in the top ten is the new entry Captive State which earned € 161.630
