The €2.5 million call for proposals for the production of feature-length films made under a co-production or minority participation scheme is now active.
The contributions made available by the Direzione generale Cinema e audiovisivo will be active until 1 October 2021. Therefore, feature-length cinematographic works, including research and training works, made in international co-production will be eligible. This means an international co-production in which the participation of the Italian company is a minority one compared to the participation of the non-Italian company.
To be eligible, the products must obtain provisional Italian nationality as works in international co-production or co-partnership. Applicant companies must also have their registered office in the European Economic Area and qualify as European companies and independent producers.
