Liguria unifies its action to that of the other Italian Regions. In August, the Regional Council approved the allocation of 500.000 euros to support audiovisual productions.
This is the third call put in place by the Region aimed at blocking redundancies and downsizing due to the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. Film and audiovisual production companies, European and non-European, from 20 to 23 October 2020, can apply for a contribution.
The Regional Council has provided an employment criterion in the call to encourage permanent employment and the use of local workers.
The Liguria Region reconfirms its commitment to the audiovisual sector. The Ligurian Riviera has already been selected as the setting for the animated film “Luca”, produced by Pixar and Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Enrico Casarosa.
