Starting from next May 8, Scripps Network Interactive will have a new channel, Food Network Italia, adding to the already existing Fine Living. Food Network will start off with an original production, Italiani a Tavola (Italians at Table), produced by Stand By Me, while in July the format Chopped Italy will start, produced by 3Zero2.
“We are targeting women aged 25 to 54 and our statedgoal is to reach 0.5 share by next October” says Philip Luff, Managing Director of Scripps Network Interactive UK and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Moreover, Scripps Networks Interactive announced the appointment of Francesco Denti as vice president Content and marketing Italy who will be in office from next June. Denti is presently the Vp Entertainment Channels of Fox Networks Group in United Arab Emirates.
