Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo, better known as Pippa Bacca, was a young Italian artist, 34 years old. She also was the niece of Piero Manzoni. She was crossing 11 countries involved in wars. She was hitchhiking with another Milanese artist, Silvia Moro, and they were both wearing wedding dresses. This was their performance to encourage peace and trust and to prove that, if you rely on other people, you’ll receive only good things, as they were hoping.
