The documentary Space Beyond will broadcast tomorrow, November 28th, on SKY Arte at 9.15pm and will be available on NOW TV for six months.
“A documentary to which I feel very attached, born from an apparently simple idea – to tell a story in which the absolute protagonist was Space, with the extraordinary participation of some astronauts to act as narrators”, as commented by Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano on his social networks.
The film, written and directed by Francesco Cannavà, was born from an idea of Luca Parmitano himself with Fabio Fagone and is produced by the latter for Skylight Italia, Vincenzo De Marco for Beagle Media, Renata Giuliano for 8RoadFilm and Antonio Padovani and Francesco Mollo for LattePlusProduction. The Italian-German production has the patronage of the European Space Agency (ESA), the Italian Space Agency, the Italy Embassy in Berlin, and the technical support of NASA, Roscosmos and IBM.
Space Beyond was in the official selection at MIA DOC Pitching Forum 2019 and at Italians Doc it Better 2020.
