The relaunch of cinema in the summer is announced in Sorrento, on the occasion of the Professional Days of Cinema, during the conference, Summer 2019: the year of the turning point. Promotion for a cinema all year round. The summer breakthrough is guaranteed by the programming of 10 films that already look set to blockbusters.
The season will open on May 30, 2019 with Godzilla – King of Monsters, then continue with The Secret Life of Pets 2 and Dark Phoenix (June 6), Men in black‘s spin-off (June 13) and end the month with the highly anticipated Toy Story 4 (June 27). And again Spider Man – Far from Home, the sequel to Annabelle, both confirmed for the month of July. Hobbs and Show (spin-off of Fast & Furious) will be released on August 8, followed by The New Mutants (August 15). The summer ends in beauty, with the live action The Lion King in theaters from August 21.
