An important agreement between Tim and Vision Distribution for the distribution and co-production of films has been reached. For the first time, the films will arrive on the small screens just 4 months after their release in the movie theatres.
It has been a historic agreement between Tim and Vision Distribution, not only with regard to content distribution but also for starting co-production projects. In particular, the construction of new cinematographic works will begin, involving also other important players in the market. But the real innovation of the agreement between the two parties affects distribution above all, as Vision Distribution will put its films at the disposal of Tim Vision only 4 months after their release in the theatres. This decision marks a break with the past, in which the distribution time ranges have always been decidedly wider.
Thanks to this new resolution the fans of streaming TV will finally be able to have access to many films much faster than before, and it will certainly be easier to keep up with the new releases. The film Come un gatto in tangenziale, available from April 16, 2018, starring Paola Cortellesi and Antonio Albanese (produced by Wildside in collaboration with Sky Cinema) will be the first available under this new agreement. After that, Nove Lune e Mezza by Michela Andreozzi with Claudia Gerini, Giorgio Pasotti, Stefano Fresi, Lillo and Andreozzi herself will be released in may (produced by Neo Art and Paco Cinematografica).
Other titles will be Augusto’s Fornari’s La Casa di Famiglia, with Lino Guanciale, Matilde Gioli, Libero De Rienzo and Stefano Fresi (Italian International Film, Vision Distribution); Il premio by and with Alessandro Gassmann, together with Gigi Proietti, Rocco Papaleo and Anna Foglietta (MG Italian International Film). Also in the theatres, Io c’è will be available on Tim Vision already by summer, with Alessandro Aronadio, with Edoardo Leo, Margherita Buy and Giuseppe Battiston (Italian International Film).
