The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Dario Franceschini, has signed a decree for the allocation of € 22 mln to support the cinematographic industry, particularly cinemas, because of the missed receipts caused by Covid-19 lockdown.
There was a first allocation of € 20 mln with the decree of this past 5th of June.
The application can be submitted by those who are cinema manager with registered office in Italy, with a regularity contributions certification and in planning at least 40 outdoor projections, free or paid, during the period June 15th – September 30th, 2020.
Minister Franceschini has affirmed: “Those additional resources will increase the 20 million already submitted to help cinemas, severely affected during the lockdown, and currently recovering”.
