Among the movies that will be presented at the MIACinema Co-production market & Pitching at MIA Market 2017 there’s “The Vice of Hope” by Edoardo De Angelis, produced by Pierpaolo Verga and Edoardo De Angelis for O’ Groove.
The film tells he story of of an ‘unconventional’ priest who gets transferred to an isolated location: he is the reason why a fellow priest, believed to be guilty of abuse against hearing-impaired people, is now in a coma. He meets Maria, a hopeless prostitute now unexpectedly pregnant. They have both been involved in a traumatic event twenty years prior. They decide to face their past drama and ensure the safe birth of the baby to give him and themselves a more serene future.
