After What’s next Italy | MIA 2017, Two Small Italians by Paolo Sassanelli arrives in theatres from 14 June 2018.
Key Films will distribute the film by Paolo Sassanelli, Two Small Italians, a project presented at What’s next Italy | MIA 2017. Two Small Italians is an Italian-Icelandic co-production between Mood Film by Tommaso Arrighi and Duo Productions by Gudrun Edda Thorhannesdottir.
The main characters – interpreted by Paolo Sassanelli and Francesco Colella – are guests of a center for mental health in Puglia. After the escape, the duo heads for Holland, arriving in Rotterdam, where their adventure begins. Two Small Italians was realized with the support of Eurimages, MiBACT and the Italian regions of Puglia and Lazio.
