The new call of the Venice Gap-Financing Market for European and international projects has been announced by La Biennale di Venezia.
As reported by La Biennale di Venezia, the Venice Gap-Financing Market is a platform for selected projects, aimed at supporting European and international producers in securing full financing for their projects (fiction, documentaries, Immersive Projects) through one-to-one meetings with industry professionals (producers, marketers, distributors, financiers, broadcasters and funds).
The call is open to European and international projects, for the following categories:
- Fiction and Documentary Feature Films: up to 27/33 projects will be selected for narrative or creative feature films and documentaries, including 3 Biennale College Cinema projects, from all over the world, with no genre restrictions, including animated films.
- Immersive Projects: up to 10/12 VR projects from around the world will be selected.
The 9th edition of the Venice Gap-Financing Market will be held from September 2 to 4, 2022.
During the 3 days up to 45 European and international projects and Immersive Projects developed within the framework of Biennale College Cinema Virtual Reality will be presented.
The deadline for the call for proposals is May 7, 2022.
