Annunciate le nomination per la 79esima edizione dei Golden Globe.
Il presidente Helen Hoehne della Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) e Snoop Dogg hanno annunciato le nomination per la 79esima edizione dei Golden Globe Awards. Tra i film candidati che hanno ricevuto il maggior numero di nomination troviamo Belfast e Il potere del cane con 7 candidature ciascuno. Seguono Una famiglia vincente – King Richard, Don’t Look Up e Licorice Pizza con 4 nomine. L’Italia presente all’appello nella categoria miglior film straniero con È stata la mano di Dio di Paolo Sorrentino. Per quanto riguarda le serie TV il primato spetta a Succession con 5 candidature seguito da The Morning Show e Ted Lasso con 4.
Come riporta il comunicato dei Golden Globe, “negli ultimi otto mesi, la HFPA ha completamente rivisto il suo statuto, implementando cambiamenti radicali da cima a fondo che riguardano l’etica e il codice di condotta, la diversità, l’equità e l’inclusione, la governance, la partecipazione e altro ancora”. Recentemente, la HFPA ha ammesso la sua classe più grande e più diversificata fino ad oggi di 21 nuovi membri, tutti votanti per la prima volta ai Golden Globe”.
