Published the new call ‘Media 360°’ of the MEDIA sub-programme of Creative Europe.

MEDIA of Creative Europe aims to financially support the EU film and audiovisual industries (including films, TV series, documentaries, video games and immersive content, as well as cinemas, festivals, VOD services and markets) in the development, distribution and promotion of their works, helping not only to promote and distribute works beyond national and European borders but also supporting talents through training programs, as well as audience development and film education.

In particular, as reported by the call, the objective of ‘MEDIA 360°’ is to exploit synergies between ecosystems, develop further potential for cooperation, achieve economies of scale between the different activities supported, create an impact across the value chain. Initiatives will aim to strengthen the capacity to create, produce and promote in an agile approach, high quality European works in all formats and for all platforms able to compete in a global market.

Projects should cover activities in at least two of the following segments:

1) Activities covered by the support “Talent and skills “
Activities may be training courses and/or programs based on innovative methods of learning, mentoring and coaching and resorting to the use of the latest technologies, with a strong focus on e-learning delivery and MOOC creation.
2) Activities covered by “Markets and networking”support
Promotion of European and international co-productions; facilitated access to events and markets of the sector; increased circulation of European works in Europe and outside Europe.
3) Support for international co-productions
4) Activities covered by the support to the development and/or dissemination of “Innovative tools and business models” to increase the visibility and availability of European works.
5) Audience-oriented activities that provide mechanisms for pan-European cooperation, with the aim of stimulating interest in and knowledge of European films, including heritage films.

Once these requirements are met, projects may also include other activities in line with the objectives of the call. Priority will be given to B2B activities. Special attention will be given to actions that present appropriate strategies to make the industry more environmentally sustainable, ensure gender balance, incusion and diversity.

Applications may be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 12, 2022.
