Graduated from HEC Paris and a bachelor’s degree in cinema and audiovisual from Sorbonne Nouvelle University – Paris 3, Nicolas Parpex has worked as an investor for fifteen years. Within BPI France, he heads the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) Pole (> € 400m in AuM), which invests in equity from seed to LBO, and pilots all Bpifrance’s action in the French Touch (around € 1bn p.a). He has carried out around twenty operations, mainly in the CCIs and sat on the governance bodies of companies such as Federation Entertainment, Brut, Média Participations (Dargaud, Dupuis…), Nacon, FLCP, Playtime, Buffet Crampon, Dubbing Brothers, Cap Cinéma, Galatée Films, Paule Ka, Finsbury, IFCIC or Kepler Financials Partners (Kepler Cheuvreux). He is also Commissioner at the Centre National du Cinéma in France, sits on the Pictanovo expert committee, on the steering committee of the “Ms / MC Médias, Art et Création” at HEC, and teaches at HEC, EDHEC, Sciences Po and La Sorbonne.
