MIA|DOC sceglie ogni anno uno specifico tema per il suo Co-production Market & Pitching Forum: un segmento che possa essere strategico per lo sviluppo economico delle aziende italiane. Dopo il successo di Arts&Culture dell’edizione 2016, il focus di MIA|DOC 2017 è i Current Affairs, l’Investigative journalism e Human interest.
Otto progetti di aziende italiane (one-off o seriale) sono stati selezionati dal Board internazionale di MIA|DOC per essere presentati ad un parterre internazionale di eccellenza – commissioning editor, distributori italiani e internazionali e produttori.
Gli otto titoli scelti insieme al progetto francese Abortion: the pro-life threat di Alexandra Jousset e Andrea Rawlins-Gaston prodotto da Patrice Lorton (Capa Presse) selezionato all’ultimo Sunny Side of the Doc, verranno presentati nel corso di una sessione di pitch pubblica, cui seguirà una serie di incontri B2B con i professionisti dell’industria audiovisiva italiana e internazionale.
